Woodsong is located on the North Carolina coast, approximately 8 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean and just off U.S. Highway 17. Woodsong is ideally located halfway between lively, entertaining Myrtle Beach, S.C. and the beauty and culture of historic Wilmington, N.C., about 40 minutes drive from each. Both of these cities have major airports for travel convenience. Wilmington is directly served by I-40, which connects to I-95 just east of Raleigh, N.C.

Woodsong is situated in the full-service town of Shallotte, N.C. near Ocean Isle Beach in Brunswick County.

To get to Woodsong by car, it's easy to reach from the Myrtle Beach and the Wilmington areas. It's best to use US Hwy 17 as a starting point, as this road runs along the coast. Next, take U.S. 17 to Shallotte, exit into town from the bypass, then to NC-179/Village Road (watch for our sign), then turn on Pender Road and left on Sylvan Street.
